Alumni Scholars Program (ASP)

The purpose of the ASP is to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding incoming freshmen.  This year we had 55 NJ High School seniors apply for our OSU scholarships.  All were in the top 10% of their graduating class.  I am happy to report that our club was able to award two $1000 scholarships to two very deserving candidates.  These are one time-scholarships, but it certainly is enough to help with the very expensive tasks of buying textbooks, paying fees etc.

2011 NJ Freshmen Scholarship Winners

Tyler Evan Hampton:   Jackson, NJ. Graduated from Memorial High School.  He will be pursuing a career in Bio-Medical Engineering.

 

 

 

 

Samantha Jo Ragsdale: Millington, NJ. Graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School.  She will be majoring in communications and sports/leisure activities.
